As the Plant Manager at the Leominster, MA facility where you will serve as a management site leadership team member while leading a team of 4 and total site team members of 50.  Responsible for the day-to-day activities of maintaining the plant facility operations, including safety policies, personnel, housekeeping, maintenance, production activities, customer requirements, planning and scheduling for a plastics compounding facility.

  • Provide site leadership and guidance on the coordination of plant activities through planning/scheduling to ensure the manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Review customer requirements and specifications to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate and maintain ongoing, effective, safety plans to ensure program adoption and implementation
  • Continuously monitor the maintenance / engineering status and production rates of all equipment to achieve an uninterrupted production flow and daily output expectations. Ensure that Preventative Maintenance Programs are in place and maintained in order to maximize asset utilization and long-term return on investment
  • Offer new ideas to support the fulfillment of site and department KPI’s and procedures for continuous improvement, retention of customer base, and employee job satisfaction
  • Develop and manage defined communication channels across various stakeholder groups to build effective relationships and produce superior products
  • Manage capital expenditures, manufacturing costs and operating efficiencies to improve plant profitability
  • Monitor and control waste management to manage production costs and reduce environmental impacts



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and demonstrated mechanical acumen
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry with 5 plus years of related leadership experience in a plastics production facility
  • Relentless determination and courage to make things happen; strong execution skills; results-oriented
  • Demonstrated expertise in process management to ensure production efficiency
  • Demonstrated understanding of quality processes and continuous improvement, such as Six Sigma certification
