JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Will supervise all plant personnel and be responsible for operations, safety, quality and environmental compliance of the plant.
  • Will implement production goals and develop KPI's to predict performance issue's and stay on budget.
  • Maintain and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
  • Along with engineering will lead the project scope development
  • Responsible for inventory planning on feedstock and outbound products
  • Oversee incident investigations and resolution for all process issues that affect quality (troubleshoot and correct RCA/Continuous improvement)

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in Engineering (Chemical ideal). Science degree may be considered with direct industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a plant/operations manager with responsibility for both the technical operations as well as managing the business side.
  • Relevant industry experience includes the chemical, petrochemical or refining industries or industries with related unit operations (continuous distillation, hydrotreating, LPS systems, storage tanks etc)
  • Ability to coach, mentor, train, develop and engage subordinate staff.
  • Knowledgeable in PSM and environmental compliance.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement methodology (OEE, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen etc)

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
