Senior Process Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement automation projects across global operations
  • Develop assembly process concepts for new compressor products
  • Develop assembly equipment concepts, including cycle time and error proofing
  • Purchase new equipment
  • Maintain Bill of Process documentation and assist plants to maintain/conform to the Bill of Process
  • Initiate Bill of Process improvements
  • Assure best practices are quickly captured and transferred to all manufacturing sites
  • Participate in product cost and quality improvement efforts

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in Automation and Robotics
  • Ability to integrate automation (i.e. Robots) into manufacturing cells
  • Ability to manage time and organize effectively with multiple projects
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience with high precision tolerances
  • Experience with PFMEA, PFD, and PCP documentation
  • Experience with measurement system analysis
  • Strong writing skills to complete technical reports and equipment specifications
  • Willing to travel up to 50%

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
