Multi Billion Dollar Corporation with excellent career growth opportunities and locations throughout North America is seeking a Process Engineer for their plant near Jacksonville, FL. This person will be part of the company's central engineering group and will at times support multiple plants. More Process/Production Engineering in nature. Not a desk job.

·Support plant operations and investigates process, equipment, quality, and other problems or areas and determines appropriate solutions.
·Utilize Six Sigma methodology to identify process improvement opportunities for yields, costs and waste reduction
·Improve process capability and production output while maintaining and improving quality standards
·Lead site engineering projects and provide ongoing plant operations support
·Responsibilities may include designing smaller projects and implementing portions of more complex projects. The Engineer may serve as a lead over contractors.
·Ensure compliance with PSM guidelines
·Identify and monitor key process performance indicators to reveal process deficiencies.


·Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering ideal. (May consider an ME with some knowledge chemistry, reaction kinetics)
·4+ years of process engineering experience including troubleshooting and implementing process improvements in a Chemical manufacturing (or related) environment
·Experience implementing Continuous Improvement methods (Lean mfg/Six Sigma) in a manufacturing facility.
·Should posses good analytical and troubleshooting skills
·Must be comfortable spending considerable time on the plant floor supporting operations
·Must be open to travel to support other plants in the US, up to 50% at times.
