COMPENSATION: Six Figures (Base Salary + Incentives)

The company manufactures products used for diverse industrial applications, including towing and recovery, utility, the oil and gas fields, mining, forestry, military, and mobile fleet service. They are known for producing high-quality offerings for demanding uses and environments. They have a solid product line but are continually developing new products. 


The Product Manager drives the company brand and product lines to exceed market expectations.  This person will work in alignment with engineering, sales, and marketing and will define and manage the product vision (i.e. an interactive rolling 3-year product roadmap).


  • Define and manage the product Vision i.e. An interactive rolling 3-year Product Roadmap
  • Drive the 4 key NPD Projects to secure $XX in new business in alignment with 2022 goals
  • Develop pricing matrix for different pricing scenarios of 2%, 3% & 5% with visibility to a competitive environment for
  • Develop VOC scorecard with (10x) monthly connections. Five quantitative metrics (i.e. quality, cost, service, NPD, response)
  • Gathering and prioritizing the product and customer requirements (an extension of the above)
  • Rationalize and respond to complex specification bid documents to put our company in the optimal compliance, product, and price position on projects
  • Map branding message from advertising/web through dealers/distributors to our company home office (what are customers hearing throughout their buying process)


Required Competencies:

  • Work in alignment with engineering, sales and marketing ensure sales metrics for revenue and margins are met
  • Must thrive in a team environment and be able to inspire action through logic, inspiration and motivation. Not just through reporting structures.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to senior leadership as well as cross-functional team(s).
  • Technical ability to support and diagnose RCA with hydraulic/electric system malfunctions in multiple applications
  • Ability to translate complex technical terms into marketing materials for the general consumer in order to garner maximum impact from marketing campaigns
  • Attention to detail and highly organized  
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage deadlines
  • Ability to define clear measurable objectives, and measure progress against them
  • Bachelor's Degree (Engineering/Mathematics/Marketing preferred) from an accredited university plus previous product management experience in an industrial manufacturing business.
