Job Description:

Our client is looking for a creative and motivated Product Manager to join our team and help grow our business, with a specific focus on our medical cost management services that aim to improve healthcare quality and affordability for members. This role has the primary responsibilities of (1) steering the direction of our technology and service offerings to ensure a differentiated value proposition, and (2) ensuring the value proposition is communicated to the market.

This person will report directly to the SVP of Medical Cost Management Services and be responsible for the development and launch of new and/or enhanced service offerings (e.g., fraud waste and abuse prevention, population health management, etc.). This role will own the end-to-end lifecycle of the product offering, from owning the definition of the offering (e.g., targeted customer segment, pricing, key initiatives, etc.), to building marketing materials and initiative business cases, orchestrating change management, and performing root cause analyses coming out of tracking and reporting.

The Product Manager will play a key role in helping them achieve this vision. This high-impact role will work across functions and interact with clients, vendors, and senior leaders.

 

Responsibilities:

• Own the understanding of the market (customers, competitive offerings)
• Define their products and ongoing value proposition
• Work cross-functionally to determine the best GTM strategy, set proper timelines and KPIs, and coordinate launch
• Drive usage and adoption of their products
• Own the bridge to sales and market understanding (e.g., marketing materials, distribution channels, etc.)
• Continuously own and re-prioritize implementation roadmap, use-cases and product development backlog
• Act as sole owner for integrated orchestration and risk management of product enhancements and new product roll-outs
• Partner with Operations to design and develop internal tools, workflows, etc. to ensure delivery of value proposition, tracking, and reporting
• Implement and monitor a tracking and reporting system to ensure metrics-driven decision-making and troubleshooting

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 2+ years of healthcare experience required
• 5+ years of work experience, with a background in product, marketing, and/or analytics/data science;
  or 2+ years at a top-tier strategy consulting firm
• Excellent communication skills – strong written and oral communication skills proven in both marketing and executive communications contexts
• Strong analytical skills; including experience reviewing performance results and making recommendations for future actions
• Strong financial and business acumen
• Dynamic, motivating, and entrepreneurial-minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and deadlines. Proactive mentality with curiosity and desire to learn.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects, ability to meet deadlines, and strong attention to detail
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office including Word and Excel and PowerPoint.

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
