We are seeking a Product Manager, Instrumentation and Control for a manufacturing company in San Antonio, Texas. The Product Manager will take market requirements and technology trends and make the necessary portfolio changes (develop/acquire new products, modify existing products, rationalize obsolete or low performing products) to deliver sales and profitability growth.   • Deliver year-over-year profitability improvements and product vitality scores.
  • Develop technology road maps that consider technology innovations, market trends, competitive landscape opportunities and market requirements for target segments.
  • Collaborate with sales to collect market requirements and competitor offerings to deliver a compelling portfolio for each target market.
  • Define New Product Development initiatives in collaboration with sales and engineering to address well defined market gaps in high growth, high profitability spaces.
  • Define product improvement initiatives in collaboration with sales and engineering to (1.) grow sales in target segment, (2.) improve profitability, and/or (3.) improve manufacturability of products in the portfolio.
  • Serve as the thought-leader for Instrumentation, Controls, Telemetry and IoT solutions and provide technical support and guidance to channel partners and customers.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering highly preferred
  • Master’s or Ph.D. degree related to process instrumentation and control systems.
  • 5+ years of experience in design, selection, application, operation, and maintenance of instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, DCS systems, telemetry, remote monitoring control systems, preferably in industrial or municipal water treatment environments.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, control market space, and competitive landscape of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Highly prefer water quality, water filtration, potable water industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with sales and marketing organizations.
  • Working knowledge of financial statements, forecasting models, pricing models, business case preparation techniques, and product management processes and tools
  • Remote opportunity, 30% travel
