Master Production Planner / Scheduler

Walpole, MA

Immediate job opening for an experienced Production Planner / Scheduler (Reagents: Biologicals/Biochemicals) with one of the leading medical diagnostic manufacturers in the world. This organization is on the cutting edge of technology as it relates to diagnosing diseases. Here are a few key things to note!

 

  • Highly complex biotech product lines (reagent manufacturing; antibodies, proteins, enzymes, chemicals & bioreagents)

  • Critical role for the business; you’ll work with the Master Production Schedule, Material & Capacity Requirements Plan (procurement spends about €200M/year at this site, to give you idea of flow) 

 

Additional responsibilities

  • Day to day you’ll construct & maintain complex Master Production Schedules (capacity constraints, inventory costs, stability for work centers & procurement teams)

  • Work with Material Requirements Plan, and Capacity Requirements Plan. 

  • Execute the plan through SAP’S MRP

  • Manage highly complex biotech product lines

  • To give you a ballpark of how much product is moving through & being produced in this facility, the procurement team purchases about €200M+ spend/year for this site

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree Desired

  • 4-8+ years of Master Production Schedule Planning experience

  • Experience in medical, FDA, food or another fast-paced, regulated industry desired

  • Ambitious, organized, able to wear a lot of hats & multi-task

  • Able to capitalize on opportunities to minimize waste and cost

  • APICS CPIM desired

  • Be part of process improvement projects & lead manufacturing initiatives 

  • Ability to work independently and in project teams.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
