Our client is a global specialty pharmaceutical manufacturer and a leading provider of contract manufacturing services to proprietary pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies for formulation development, scale up and commercialization of complex processes, ideas and projects. Seeking a Business Development Project Manager. The environment is casual with a strong desire to be successful. Beautiful location North of Denver.



Will manage resources to successfully achieve customer deliverables and project objectives for contracted product development and technical transfer of active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates.

Ensure compliance to contractual commitments: develop project plan including resources, timing and deliverables. Monitor KPI's including expenditures vs. budget.

Manage and control multiple projects to meet objectives.

Act as a liaison between company and customer project manager to ensure mutual agreement of contract scope and schedule.

Drive continuous improvement of the project management process.

Identify and facilitate resolution of manufacturing, supply chain, or quality issues.

Ensure risk assessments and appropriate risk mitigation plans are established.

Interact with R&D, Quality, and Operations to understand critical to quality product requirements.

Assist with the preparation of RFP's.




Minimum BS in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.

Would like 8-10+ years’ experience overall and ideally experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.

5+ years in Project Management and experience in API process development and external customer communications. ?

Working knowledge of biotech/pharma manufacturing operations, product and process development, and supply chain operations in a cGMP-regulated environment, including knowledge of relevant US/EU regulatory and quality requirements.

Good business negotiation skills and ability to identify new business opportunities.

Capable of handling multiple tasks/projects.

Proven expertise in synthetic API process development, improvement, and technical transfer is a plus.

University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
