JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a multi-disciplined engineering company offering you that offer a prompt reliable engineering and construction service for the water, wastewater, chemical, process and mining industries. They assist with Design, Project Management, Pump Stations and Civil construction. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing core client base through regular phone contact, site visits and promotion of products and services
  • To liaise with clients, project managers and other key stakeholders and to coordinate sub-contractors and suppliers to enable new vacuum sewerage projects to be successfully commissioned.
  • Growing client accounts, customer retention.
  • To monitor the available media for proposals for new vacuum sewerage schemes and to obtain documentation to enable tenders and quotations to be prepared.
  • Providing excellent service to clients through end to end responsibility
  • Meeting monthly sales requirements from your allocated portfolio.  

QUALIFICATIONS

What you’ll need:

  • Experience in Hydraulics/Water Pump systems
  • A good knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Project and a level of proficiency in the use of AutoCAD
  • Good interpersonal skills and confidence with telephone and face-to-face customer interactions
  • Knowledge of the relevant Australian Standards, codes and other design standards relevant to vacuum sewerage infrastructure
  • Upbeat and personable with ability to relate with people of all levels from workshop floor, to the head offices
  • Time management and organisational skills, able to work autonomously
  • Valid C class drivers licence, clear police record
