Based in southern Sydney, this permanent role is working in an organisation that caters to the needs of people with disabilities.
Reporting to the CEO this roles is responsible for meeting the statutory requirements with the areas of Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, Client Advocacy and staff training
To be successful in this role you must have
·Tertiary degree in disability or related field (community/human services).
·Experience in Quality management position in Disability/Home Care Service Sector.
·Comprehensive knowledge on and experience in, implementing, monitoring and evaluating
·Quality management system.
·Ability to implement and maintain Quality Management System in disability sector.
·Ability to monitor compliance of services provided by organisation and personnel with
·organisation policies and procedures and relevant industry standards.
·Experience in internal audit according to Management Systems Auditing Techniques.
·Ability to maintain, implement, monitor and evaluate an information management system.
·Ability to collect, analyse and use accurate data and information to generate reports on
·quality assurance and improvement, to make effective strategic and operational decisions.
·Knowledge & understanding of ethical work practices, Disability Service Standards and relevant
·legislation, EEO and WH&S.
·Demonstrated working knowledge of the Microsoft Office software programs for work related
·Ability to be “on-call” outside normal hours.
·Current NSW Driver’s License.
