Regional Sales Engineer

We have an immediate need for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join a successful, growing global manufacturer of (electromechanical customized products); over $4B in size, this division is $200M+). We seek a strong sales hunter to find new business opportunities, facilitate the development of new market strategies and maintain existing accounts. This is a high-mix/low volume manufacturer of solutions used in medical devices, laboratory automation, industrial automation, semiconductor, and other industries!

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop strategic customer accounts & cultivate new business opportunities
  • Identify new products and market opportunities
  • Develop winning strategies for new business pursuits for assigned territories
  • Prepare multiyear quote proposals, manage sales/engineering/customer interface, pricing, negotiations, marketing analysis 
  • Ensure that the sales channel supports new product development goals of engineering and growth objectives of the business
  • Establish and maintain key customer relations and ties to new development programs
  • Support financial reporting including forecasting, budgets, and quarterly reporting requirements 

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Related Field (BSME, BSEE, Other technical degrees considered)

·         Min 4-8+ years field sales experience, account management, business development

·         Knowledge of motors, drives, gearboxes, other linear motion elements desired, not required

·         High sense of urgency with excellent organization, communication, and written skills with attention to detail and accuracy. 

·         Ability to travel as needed

·         Problem solving, excellent judgment, confidentiality, and managing multiple projects with a "can do" attitude are key strengths that will ensure success in this high-profile Regional Sales position.

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
