JOB DESCRIPTION

Regional Sales Manager – Industrial Capital Equipment
Salary: Base Salary + Commission + Company Car + Group Insurance Plan. OTE: $80,000 - $90,000 per annum
Territory: Kingston – Quebec City
Industry: Machinery, Capital Equipment, Tube Processing
Territory Size: $1.5M - $2M in Capital Equipment, Blades, Consumables (Average unit size of equipment sold: $250k)

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager for Tube Processing equipment. Reporting directly to the President, you will work out of a home-office selling capital equipment, blades, band-saw, coolant and lubrication equipment. There is a 8,000 square foot shop in Montreal, QC which specializes in welding, fabrication and sharpening / re-finishing equipment. Equipment is stored at a local warehouse in Montreal, QC for delivery. There is (1) Technician in Montreal, QC to support your sales efforts and (2) technicians in Ontario to support the Ontario Regional Sales Manager.

What we can offer you

  • An Exciting opportunity as Direct Sales selling to end users (Steel Tube Mills) through visiting customers, understanding their processes and recommending the appropriate metal fabrication and capital equipment for their shop. Ability to WFH during the pandemic.
     
  • A wide range of industrial tube processing equipment selling directly to automotive, steel mills and steel processing shops within the Quebec and Kingston area. Ability to sell Band Saw Blades, and blade re-sharpening services to an existing account base in order to prospect for new capital equipment sales.
     
  • A chance to engage in a profitable territory (which includes a variety of capital equipment products , coolants and lubricants)  and grow the territory based on existing, retained accounts and your salesmanship skills.
     
  • Competitive base salary plus a strong commission plan. Company Car and Group Insurance plan.
     

 

QUALIFICATIONS

You will have:

  • 5-7 years of experience in selling industrial capital equipment ranging from tube processing equipment, band saws, blades, lubricants and coolants within the Kingston – Quebec City region.
     
  • 5+ years of experience in understanding Metal Fabrication Equipment (Band Saws, Metal Bending and Metal Cutting equipment)

 

  • Tri-lingual would be an asset. (Ability to speak Conversational Italian, French and English)

Education:
Vocational/Technical/Diploma
