Will be responsible for developing new territory with a few established relationships with current and prospective customers.  This is NOT a short selling cycle….its consultative type sales.

Home office situation based ideally in CA  - LA, San Diego or San Francisco/Bay Area.

Will be responsible for developing new territory with a few established relationships with current and prospective customers.  This is NOT a short selling cycle….its consultative type sales.

Home office situation based ideally in CA  - LA, San Diego or San Francisco/Bay Area.

Will make calls or visits to build relationships.  Expected to do 30% overnight travel as most of the customer base in SF area BUT initially will do more to meet all the existing customers and prospects already identified.  HUGE opportunity to grow sales as their technology is the wave of the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively managing customer accounts and provides options, recommendations and solutions to existing and potential customers, constantly maintaining the customer relationship.
  • Identify and commercialize new target accounts, constantly growing and developing the business.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals stemming from field activity and make preparations of presentations, proposals and quotations for same.

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Background

BS Science or Engineering – technical credibility

Experience in long cycle sales – will consider other industries i.e. food, chemical, petro-chemical.

Will consider someone who is now in technical support or applications role interested in moving into Sales.
