JOB DESCRIPTION

 Responsibilities of the Director of Revenue Integrity: 
-Develops a charge audit/capture/reconciliation process and ensures charges are maximized for reimbursement
-Provides oversight and response for governmental audits and Third Party Payer audits
-Participates in compliance related activities and denials root cause and process improvement
-Responsible for all aspects of the Charge Description Master and fee schedule formulations, reviews and maintains to optimize revenue generation
-Maintains compliance with third party payer requirements and policies and procedures development

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications of the Director of Revenue Integrity:
-Bachelor’s degree in nursing, business administration, finance, computer science or related field required
-Master’s degree in business, health administration or related field preferred
-RN, BSN, CIC, CCS, CPC designations are highly desirable
-Certification in auditing and/or healthcare compliance desirable
-5+ years of revenue cycle management, IT management or project management experience 
 

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
