For 40 years, our client has been a leading manufacturer of battery charging and diagnostic devices serving customers in over 100 countries.  This sales manager will be instrumental in supporting and exanding existing sales as well as developing new markets for a new and exciting cloud-based suite of products which will be released shortly.  

JOB DESCRIPTION

Sales Manager – Battery Charging and Diagnostics

For 40 years, our client has been a leading manufacturer of battery charging and diagnostic devices serving customers in over 100 countries.

They have an opening for a Sales Manager to sell current products and to participate in new designs. The candidate must be a self-starter with desire to conquer and win. A good conceptual understanding of new technology and how innovation can be sold to diverse industries is required.

Their next generation products in development connect to the cloud to form a Reliability Assurance Network (RAN) that stores and displays battery test data delivered by chargers, analyzers, monitors and rapid-testers.  Rather than selling pure hardware, the sales team will be transitioning to sell turn-key systems to early adopters.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will strengthen sales in underserved markets and expand into new territories. Markets in battery care for current and future products are very diverse and include health care, public safety, defense, manufacturing, oil and gas, warehousing, automotive, and transportation.  The candidate will also be responsible for building and maintaining an efficient sales team.

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate must be a self-starter with a track record of generating revenues in a mid-sized high-tech company. They will be a creative thinker with a demonstrated understanding of technical products and how features will benefit diverse buyers. They will be passionate to explore new markets and to establish solid relationships with customers and distribution channels.  They must be familiar with trial runs, product launches, lead generation campaigns and e-commerce.  They must fit an existing culture of integrity, character, and the fostering of a pleasant working environment.

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
