Seeking Mid-Atlantic Sales Manager to be responsible to carry out all sales and marketing to maintain, develop and grow the overall sales volume in this territory in a manner which maximizes profitability. Company products are primarily fertilizers, agricultural and specialty chemicals.     

MUST BE a Self Starter, Motivated to Sell, Willing to travel (3 nights a week to cover Delaware, Maryland & Virginia),  Can live in anyone of those states.Organized and Adaptable.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking Mid-Atlantic Sales Manager to be responsible to carry out all sales and marketing to maintain, develop and grow the overall sales volume in this territory in a manner which maximizes profitability. Company products are primarily fertilizers, agricultural and specialty chemicals.    

*Plan / organize sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business goals.
*Plan / develop dealer/distributor network in this territory according to agreed market development strategy.                                                                                                                                                  
*Motivate dealers and distributors to promote company portfolio of products and services.                      

*Educate growers, dealers & distributors on new products.                                                                 

 

*Conduct direct farm visits to growers in order to promote and sell portfolio of products.                

*Conduct direct visits to dealers and distributors to assist in selling portfolio of products.                      

*Sell and service equipment related to application of fertilizer products.                                              
*Install and help to install equipment as related to the application of fertilizer products.                           
*Sell storage tanks as related to storage of fertilizer products.                                                            
*Conduct grower meetings to promote the use of company products.                                                             
*Attend farm shows to promote the use of company products and services.                                                 
*Locate and develop test plot locations as it relates to company research & development program.           
*Manage and collect accounts receivable as required to keep receivables current.                               
*Perform any other duties as may be required from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree preferred, but not required if have related fertilizer/chemical sales experience.

Can live anywhere in DE, MD or VA.
