Our client is a local manufacturer and service provider for trailers and related equipment. We are looking for a Sales Manager join their team. This position will be focused on project-based sales. He or she will work with the team to design trailers that solve customer challenges. We are looking for individuals with proven sales accomplishments and a strong understanding of the transportation and trailer industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Manage RFQs and identify new opportunities for trailer sales
  • Prepare technical bids, quotes and presentations
  • Manage sales contracts, invoices, payments and customer communication during the entire sales cycle
  • Work in conjunction with the team to ensure projects are effectively executed
  • Develop sales strategies and plans, including forecasting and trend analyses
  • Provide high-quality customer service, technical information, solutions and support to clients
  • Visit clients to develop relationships and devise solutions for customer challenges
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and find opportunities to enhance the company’s market share and offerings
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the sales department

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 5 years of experience selling products or services related to transportation and trailers
  • Ability to build relationships with customers and provide high-calibre customer support
  • Strong business acumen
  • Enthusiastic, engaged and driven to build sales
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Willing to travel up to 25% of the time
