Our client is a leading French manufacturer of skincare products that offers a wide range of high-quality beauty products on an international basis.
They are currently in need of a Sales and Education Manager who will be responsible for managing the brand’s performance within the assigned territory. The most important requirement to be successful in this role is the ability to promote company’s products and educate the stores’ staff on how to properly represent the different product lines to their customers. Knowledge of Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an asset.
This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about the beauty industry and with the ability to build long-term relationships with the assigned stores. Prospecting for new client will be also part of the responsibilities, although the main focus will be maintaining the existing accounts. Travel will be mostly in Vancouver and Lower Mainland, with some exception in BC when needed (overnight travel twice a year for corporate events).
Meet and exceed sales goals
Plan, schedule and coordinate all in-store support and activities
Build lasting relationships with staff and management of the stores
Allocate spending resources to achieve maximum retail sales and generate significant ROI
Ensure company imagine is respected and well-promoted
Ensure reasonable stock levels in retail accounts
Execute marketing and merchandising plans coming from the head-office
Plan and execute all the stores events
Train all the staff of the assigned retail accounts
Provide exceptional customer service
Provide solutions on a retail level to ensure company and clients’ success
Prospect new potential retail/spa locations in BC
Manage budget and perform administrative duties
Experience in the cosmetic industry
Strong retail background, ideally with Sephora
Outstanding communications and networking skills
Customer service oriented, strong business acumen
Ability to drive results
Mandarin and/or Cantonese speaking
Strong entrepreneurial spirit, work ethic, high energy and attention to details
Ability to utilize devises such as POS, iPad, etc.
Valid driver’s license and in possess of personal car
