Senior Account Executive opportunity to join a tight-knit team at a nationally recognized marketing agency based in Southern California. This is an opportunity to be a hands-on leader by managing your own desk and to make a big impact in a lean environment. This person will be managing a warm desk at an agency that has the flexibility to be nimble and adapt to a frequently changing market. Direct point of contact with brand partners and will be responsible for developing, delivering, and executing retail marketing plans that identify and engage key grocery shoppers along the path to purchase.
Developing relationships with new and existing clients, vendors, and retailers.
Leading campaign strategy and execution of comprehensive promotion plans that support new product sell-ins, distribution retention, and help clients reach their category velocity goals
Supervising and improving the go-to-market tools & platforms, processes and workflow including in-store POP, retailer.com and digital media, digital coupons & rebates
Analyzing program performance metrics and effectively communicating key findings of programs to client contacts, proactively addressing gaps, and turning analysis into action to drive growth
Managing and coaching one or more direct reports
3+ years of experience in CPG marketing role at a brand, agency, or solution provider
Demonstrated working knowledge of the grocery industry including current trends, key vendors, and business terminology and philosophies
Advanced project management skills (experience with Asana or other project management software a plus)
Strong interpersonal skills, including confidence while speaking in groups – and humility when learning from others
Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Self-motivated: Able to manage your own schedule and task list independently
Analytical acumen to make informed decisions; understand and optimize media campaigns and navigate digital and social marketing platforms
Exceptional computer skills: Microsoft Office especially RE: presentation development
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
