Civil Engineering role will have direct client interface, be leading teams of design, coordinate with a variety of disciplines including being on the porject out in the field. The position will require a leader that can operate effectively in a dynamic work environment across Alaska with the initiative and enthusiasm to develop, mentor and  guide team success.


Some of The Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage multi-discipline project execution

  • Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates and permit applications; Lead and perform construction management services

  • Coordinate with subcontractors’ activities and review work deliverables; Provide management support to field teams

  • Act as the primary point of contact for municipal clients in the surrounding Alaskan communities

  • Mentor and supervise technical staff

  • Take an active role in identifying new opportunities and developing new business

  • Achieve a high level of project technical and financial performance while ensuring high quality services and deliverables

  • Lead and manage Architecture and Engineering (A-E) or construction projects

  • Ensure a high level of satisfaction with our clients




  • Professional Engineering (PE) registration is required;

  • Ten or more years of experience in the broad general engineering market, field skills and environmental awareness

  • A continuous learner with Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering certification

  • Project Management

  • Experience delivering technical and business presentations

  • Excellent team building, interpersonal, and written communication skills

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering  project on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding client expectations

  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams of architects and engineers on projects is a plus.

University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
