We have an immediate need for a strong Sales Operations Manager, to join a growing division of a multi-billion-dollar global Fortune 500 (medical device/diagnostics manufacturer). Our client has experienced impressive growth over the past 20+ years (10%+ in 2018).

 

We have an immediate need for an experienced Sr Sales Operations Manager; seeking a strong independent leader who can drive change and increase productivity and effectiveness (supporting a global sales force of ~150). The critical aspects to success in this opening is being a data-driven executive who has strong experience with compensation analytics, competitive intelligence, and ability to drive winning/defensive strategies across the team. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

We need strength in Salesforce.com (SFDC) administration/optimization, forecasting/planning, budget, reporting, quota setting, competitive intelligence, sales incentive plan (SIP) development and execution, and sales process optimization. Strong experience in compensation or sales incentive plans is required (this will be a major focus of the role initially – analysis, plan design, movement/trends, execution).

 

Medical device knowledge is a plus, but not required! Great opportunity to get in a hot industry that studies show will continue to strongly trend upward for the next 10 years. This organization is part of a billion dollar company, but operates independently and you'll have the ability to drive new actions with a lot of autonomy. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Required (Advanced Degree preferred not required)
  • 8-20+ years’ experience with sales operations
  • Strong experience with Salesforce required (“super user”)
  • Strong experience with compensation/incentivized plans required
  • Strong data analytics experience, Excel Tools, Data Management, metric-driven mindset – must be able to manage performance metrics
  • Ability to drive channel effectiveness
  • Strong project leadership experience
  • Demonstrates strong ability to work in a team environment, with the ability to relate to both highly educated and unskilled team members. Must be able to work independently and be a free thinker.
  • Demonstrates strong ability to handle and resolve conflicts and work under stressful conditions and in an environment of changing priorities.
  • Ability to travel as needed (10-20% - as needed)
