JOB DESCRIPTION

Technical Programs at our Client span from product through to customer and company readiness, including field enablement and customer validation. The ideal candidate must enjoy being challenged, learning-by-doing, working as a team, using data to inform decisions, and have excellent communication and people skills. You're a great fit for this role if you have experience working across the software development lifecycle from incubation to operation, are a lean-agile guru, a stakeholder wrangler, a strong communicator and a driver of collaborative change management processes.

 

In this role you will join our fast-growing team as a program designer and facilitator for successful and predictable delivery of key product initiatives including new feature sets &/or products. In this role you will help product teams from Architects to Devops manage complex dependencies and aggressive initiative timelines. The position requires working

cross-functionally with Our Client’s product leadership as well as product managers and team leads from engineering, architecture, user experience, product marketing, sales, technical field and back-office teams.

Responsibilities

  • Act as expert and trusted advisor for all internal product lifecycle and business processes.
  • Drive planning and execution with initiative owners.
  • Work with product owners to break down and organize work into an effective plan.
  • Drive clear decision making (process, tools and facilitation) required to balance risk, effort and timelines.
  • Proactively identify and track risks and mitigations.
  • Guide timely escalation and/or negotiation up the chain when needed.
  • Ensure appropriate, regular cadence of communication across all stakeholders.
  • Conduct retrospectives and gather feedback and data on program success metrics.
  • Help design & roll out internal process workflows and metrics.
  • Ensure visibility of work and its status in our systems of record.
  • Facilitate the development of collaborative cross-team dependency solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work with key stakeholders across the company in multiple Time Zones (GMT+2, GMT-5 & GMT-8) to ensure successful product releases

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience managing technical, complex initiatives & projects from initiation to completion.
  • Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment to manage issue resolutions.
  • Proven ability to work and effectively, prioritize and organize your work and the work of others in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Ability to execute and manage performance and expectations within a cross-functional, matrix management environment.
  • Experience working with software incubation projects & lifecycle management.
  • Experience practicing principles of Lean and Agile and how to blend with traditional project management best practices.
  • Preference for collaborative work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience overcoming the difficulties of managing projects with remote and global team members.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to perform business / systems analysis to assist with process solutions.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence as both a user and administrator
  • Preferred certifications in one or more: Agile Scrum Master, Kanban, Scaled Agile, APMG, Six Sigma Belts.
  • Located in US Eastern Time Zone (GMT-5)

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
