JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a rewarding opportunity for Diesel Mechanics with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

We are looking for qualified and reliable Service and Maintenance manager.
The successful  candidate will be responsible for managing and carrying out all service and maintenance activities for company's vehicles and equipment.

The Company

An established company in Northern NSW, this company has expanded its services for the mining, agriculture, and transport sectors. They have a wide, state of the art facility which is greater than the original area due to the continued growth in demand of their products.

The Role

  • Maintain all vehicles and some equipment- trailers, forklifts, tractors, mower, utes, and cranes
  • Create and implement maintenance procedures
  • Plan and manage all repair and installation activities
  • Create service and repair schedules
  • Document all repair and service procedures
  • Be proactive in ordering parts
  • Manage the cost of area of responsibility
  • Keep area tidy and well organised
  • Train and manage an apprentice
  • Investigate information using a variety of mediums to solve any break downs with vehicles and machinery

QUALIFICATIONS

The Ideal Candidate

To apply for the role, you must have the following:

  • Trade Qualified Diesel/Motor mechanic
  • With at least 5 years of industry experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skill and attention to detail
  • An ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • High level of safety orientation


Whilst local candidates will be given priority, outstanding onshore candidates needing 482/TSS visa sponsorship may also be considered.
