Our client is the world's largest supplier of GSE (Ground Support Equipment) and airport-related equipment replacement parts with operations in The United States, Canada, Chile, France, Hong Kong, Singapore, Macau, Peru, South Africa, The Netherlands, and The United Kingdom.

The company supplies replacement parts and accessories for all types and brands of GSE. They provide supply chain management, on site supply services, single source supply, logistics solutions, engineering solutions and other cost reduction programs.


The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for researching, documenting and maintaining strong organizational and creative skills for customer service and the inside sales team.

Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and background in industrial type parts and components such as automotive, heavy duty truck, off highway, agriculture and material handling. Strong knowledge in drive train, gas/diesel engines, axles, and transmissions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source products requested utilizing various research tools including catalogs, technical specification, the internet, manufacture literature and internal departments.
  • Liaise with the internal customer facing teams to support current requirements and quotations
  • Review and address internal customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Handle both reactive (immediate need item) and proactive opportunities
  • Work projects & build information documentation for the sourcing & sales teams
  • Ability to read and comprehend parts and service manuals
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Solid analytical and writing skills
  • Spanish speaking a huge plus


  • Handle inbound/outbound phone calls and email requests for quotes/orders
  • Warranty /returns processing and follow up
  • Work with suppliers to provide technical support to internal/external customers and to customers troubleshoot/diagnose warranty claims
  • Support of assigned territory field salesperson(s) and their customers
  • Provide written/verbal feedback to customer’s inquiries
  • Call existing customers to promote new/additional business
  • Follow up with customers on quotes/orders on a daily basis
