Our client has an outstanding reputation for partnering with major healthcare and insurance organizations to provide superior Management, IT Implementation and Support Services.   This company is now seeking a Senior Program Director who will have over-sight responsibilities for planning, design, and implementation large-scale major IT programs.  This is a high-profile position with excellent future promotional opportunities.


  • Management of diverse program activities such as leading program review sessions, client advisory support for scheduling, systems implementations and technical performance.
  • Manage all phases of large-scale IT programs from inception through completion including establishing milestones, monitoring adherence to master plans, contract changes identifying and resolving problems.
  • Provide strategic, operational and technical support and ensure that the program meets full success criteria.
  • Drive program execution, establish effective communication and ensure that the business and the technical needs of the program are met.
  • Coordinates preparation of proposals, business plans, work statements, budgets and other contract terms. 
  • Provide leadership for large diverse group of Applications Development, Test and Implementation IT specialists.


  • Industry experience in healthcare or insurance is highly desirable
  • Minimum 12+ years of IT experience to include IT consulting services and experience managing large scale concurrent projects with multiple priorities.
  • Direct supervisory experience of minimum 50+ (preferring 100) IT staff to include application development, test and implementation.
  • Personal technical foundation in applications design, development and implementation.
  • Strong, leadership skills and positive customer-service mind set.
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field.
