High-visibility role for very strong and stable publicly-traded company.

This person will be acting as a "mini CFO" making financial decisions for the brands he or she supports.


The Lead Analyst will work together with key leaders to help drive the financial performance of two business units that combine for approximately $90 million in revenue.  This person will summarize and communicate the brands’ results to the finance team and will lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning and forecasting activities for the group.

The Analyst will also work closely with the Controller and will assist in the month-end closing process, as well as provide audit and costing support.

This position reports directly to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.

  • Lead their brands’ finance team in the development of the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and weekly forecasts
  • Perform variance analysis of actual results compared to plan/forecast/prior year for Income Statement and Cash Flow, and provide a concise, meaningful summary of the results to senior leaders
  • Organize and hold meetings with appropriate managers from across the business to discuss variances and suggestions for plan/forecast recovery
  • Provide analysis of price/volume/mix of sales and related cost of sales
  • Understand current key forecasting processes/procedures in place within the various facilities and use tools to drive increased accuracy across business processes
  • Review, and/or prepare, Capital Expenditure Requests (CER), and Expense Requests (ER)
  • Help prepare month-end journal entries and account reconciliations, as well as provide audit and costing support
  • Prepare monthly reports for the groups’ management



  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting with 5+ years of financial analysis experience
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills including experience across a group of complex businesses
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others without direct-reporting responsibility
  • Ability to lead the finance function, driving functional excellence, making process improvements, and incorporating business and financial tools into the workflow
  • Integrity and ethical qualities of the highest standard and comfort in raising concerns to the highest level
  • Self-starter and independent thinker possessing resilience, passion, and high-energy

University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
