  • Must be current on the latest financial accounting and reporting developments requiring ASC606 for revenue reporting

  • Medical device/equipment or some type of hardware manufacturing industry experience required

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Sr. Manager, Revenue Operations will lead the global revenue accounting function. The successful candidate will lead the revenue month-end and quarter-end close procedures while ensuring adherence to internal controls. As a member of the finance team, this role will have the opportunity to lead improvements for automation and implement new processes. The successful candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment.

  • Manage revenue accounting, reporting, audit schedules, rebates, sales tax, and VAT reporting functions for the company
  • Train team members to ensure revenue recognition requirements are well understood and documentation requirements are consistently achieved
  • Lead, manage, develop and train revenue team by providing hands-on guidance
  • Lead the month-end/quarter-end process and develop reports and metrics to review with key internal partners
  • Ensure compliance with internal audit requirements and adherence to SOX controls
  • Partner with the audit team during quarterly and annual audits and be the main point of contact for revenue cycle testing and explanations
  • Develop, implement and maintain policies and desktop procedures for ongoing revenue activities
  • Stay current on the latest financial accounting and reporting developments particularly ASC606 for revenue reporting
  • Identify, design and propose ways to make the revenue accounting function more efficient, accurate and timely on a global basis. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills and Knowledge

  • BS/BA required, ideally in finance or accounting
  • 5-7 years of increasingly responsible experience in finance or accounting.
  • Must be current on the latest financial accounting and reporting developments requiring ASC606 for revenue reporting
  • Management experience leading and developing a team of direct reports
  • Medical device/equipment or some type of hardware manufacturing industry experience required
  • BS/BA Degree preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce.com & QAD a plus

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
