JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic team as a Staff Registered Nurse on a busy Oncology Unit.

LOAN REPAYMENT!

Very supportive Director and Nursing Administration.

12 hour shifts 7A-7P or 7P-7A

Weekend and Holiday Rotation

Shift Diffs:

Evening: $2.75

Night: $3.25

Weekend/Holiday-$6.00

*Responsibilities and Duties for Staff Registered Nurse on the Oncology Unit.

Admissions, discharges, assessments, administer blood and blood products, IV’s, trach care, dressing changes, oxygen , administer medications, patient education,G- tubes, G-Tube/PEG feeding, NG, Tubes, Catheters, pulse oximetry, etc. Pre and post op,

Strong grasp of the psychological effects of cancer diagnosis and treatment. Monitoring and managing side effects from Chemotherapy.

Patient and family education.


 

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications and Skills

Must have North Carolina Registered Nurse license or Compact State eligible.

New graduates welcome to apply.

Prefer one year of experience.
