JOB DESCRIPTION

$23.00- $39.00/hr

$50,000- $75,000/yr

Staff Nurse for a 15 bed ICU expanding to 16 beds. 330 Bed Not For Profit Hosptial

Nurse to Patient Ratio 1:2

Assessments, admissions, discharges, dressing changes, infusion pumps, start IV’s,maintain heparin drip,  administer blood and blood products, chest tubes removal, trach care, drainage tubes,administer oxygen-(nasal canula, mask,endotrachael) catheters, G-Tubes, NG Tubes, assist wiht insertion of Central Lines, ABG’s,etc.

COPD, MI’s, multi-system failure, respiratory failure, CHF, ARDS, Post Surgery, Pneumonia, Acute GI Bleeds,  etc.

12 hour shifts 7A-7P or 7P-7A

Weekend and Holiday Rotation

Shift Diffs:

Evening: $2.75

Night:  $3.25

Weekend/Holiday-$6.00

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

Must have North Carolina Registered Nurse license or Compact State eligible.

Minimum oof one year of experience.

Education:
University - Associate's Degree/Graduate Diploma/2 Years
