JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time, direct-hire position with a growing company and industry leader. Please note, although this position is working remotely right now, you will be required to work on-site in the Clearwater, FL office at a later date.

We seek somone with in-depth knowledge and experience of Tableau installation, administration, and configuration. As well as knowledge of Tableau maintenance, performance monitoring and tuning. Possess an understanding of how to implement promotion methodology and version control in Tableau. Build and publish customized interactive Tableau reports and dashboards along with data refresh scheduling using Tableau Desktop & Tableau Server. Able to support SAML SSO set up for Tableau Servers. Proficient with troubleshooting techniques to determine root cause analysis and formulate solution recommendations.

Duties:

·      Administer and support a multi-tier Tableau infrastructure.

·      Reviews adheres and enforces policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company systems and information.

·      Maintain security by creating/managing user groups, licenses, and integrate with active directory.

·      Installation, configuration, and maintaining the Tableau environment to ensure reliable performance and scalability.

·      Gather requirements for capacity planning and load balancing a multi-node server installation.

·      Monitor server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements.

·      Create and maintain documentation for policies, procedures and best practices.

·      Implement and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation tasks such as system backups, user reports, user onboarding, system health monitoring, alerting and other functionality as required.

·      Evaluates options for infrastructure improvements, through product evaluations, testing or proof of concept projects.

·      Responsible for server activities such as product patching, change management, performance tuning, standards/best practices, mentoring, metadata management, cluster/distributed management, cache/history management, user management, scheduling.

·      Create Tableau scorecards, dashboards using stack bars, bar graphs, scattered plots, geographical maps, line/pie graphs and charts.

·      Provides status reports that give a detailed description of the current tasks and indicates time devoted to each task.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

·      At least 5 years of Tableau Admin/Architect/developer experience

·      Expertise with Tableau repository, TABCMD, TABADMIN/TSMADMIN command-line tools

·      Minimum of 5 years of large scalable enterprise systems development experience

·      Experienced in query languages and applications including SQL, T-SQL, P/L SQL, MS Word, Excel, Access and competency with common expressions and scripting languages

·      Technical proficiency in Oracle, SQL Server and/or DB2 relational database concepts

·      Comprehensive experience in data analysis, reporting, and documentation to support the interpretation of the reported data

·      Ability to build and publish customized interactive Tableau reports/dashboards and data refresh scheduling
