Our client is a global leader in high-performance non-medicated nutritional solutions for production livestock. They develop, manufacture and market species-specific products in 60 countries with offices worldwide. They focus and invest in innovation and development as they strive to supply the world-wide industry as it reduces or eliminates the use of antibiotics in food-animal production systems. Already well established, they are growing rapidly.
As they experience continued growth in the marketplace, and with attention to recruiting the best talent to join their diverse and dynamic team, they currently seek a highly effective Territory Manager to focus on monogastric species throughout the Ontario industry. This is an established territory with 25% of the work in Manitoba.
In this key, high-profile role, you will establish, foster and grow key relationships with strategic partners and customers, while maintaining and growing sales of products within the territory. As the sector expert, you will provide technical support to your customer base while developing strategies that support the growth and development of those customers. You will support and assist colleagues as a key team member, develop and implement an annual territory strategic plan, and meet and exceed budgeted goals.
Your qualifications will include technical and production knowledge of the Canadian swine and poultry industries, above-average communication and presentation skills, the ability to work independently while being an active member of a dynamic team, strong sales and customer-relations skills, and post-secondary education in animal science, agribusiness or a related M.Sc.
