As they experience continued growth in the marketplace, and with constant attention to recruiting the best talent to join their diverse and dynamic team, they currently seek a highly effective Territory Manager to focus on monogastric species throughout the industry in Alberta and Saskatchewan. This is an established territory.


In this key, high-profile role, you will establish, foster and grow key relationships with strategic customers, while maintaining and growing sales of products within the territory. As the sector expert, you will provide technical support to your customer base while developing strategies that support the growth and development of those customers. You will support and assist colleagues as a key team member, develop and implement an annual territory strategic plan, and meet and exceed budgeted goals.


  • Develop annual business plan to attain and exceed company goals
  • Contact potential customers to increase sales of the products in their area.
  • Analyze customer needs to provide them appropriate solutions
  • Plan meetings with potential clients to present the company's solutions
  • Completes the customer database to make appropriate follow.
  • Ensures the sale process of the company's products to customers.
  • Performs after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepares weekly and monthly sales reports.

Company representation

  • Search for new information about the products offered by the company and new products on the market.
  • Represents the company to various associations of animal nutrition (Eg. ANAC etc.)
  • Represents the company at selected national and international events
  • Powered training/demonstrations to customers.


  • Acts according to all ongoing company policies and procedures in work environment.
  • Collaborates with all departments and works with a team-based approach in order to maintain a harmonious working environment.
  • Continuously looks to improve skills and further personal development in order to enrich function.
  • Actively participates in all administrative meetings in area of responsibility and of the company.
  • Completes any other responsibilities as requested.




Your qualifications will include technical and production knowledge of the Canadian swine and poultry industries, above-average communication and presentation skills, the ability to work independently while being an active member of a dynamic team, strong sales and customer-relations skills, and post-secondary education in animal science, agribusiness or a related M.Sc.


  • Bachelor of Science in agriculture and / or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5-10 years.

Technical Competencies

  • Well versed in animal production practices, multi-species
  • Monogastric knowledge required with ruminant understanding an asset
  • Knowledge of the global and domestic market.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Mac environment.
  • English, spoken, written, and read

Working Conditions

  • Frequent travel within the assigned territory.
