Our client is a global manufacturer of industrial storage solutions sold into a variety of industries. We are looking for a Sales Representative to join their team and manage large accounts in Alberta and BC. Candidates can be based in Calgary or Vancouver.

We are looking for professionals with experience selling industrial racking systems, steel fabrication equipment, material handling equipment, or lift equipment. We may also consider candidates with experience selling capital equipment into similar verticals (such as refrigerated warehouses, food, retail, wholesalers, or transportation).

Candidates will be self motivated, self managed, well organized and able to develop strong relationships at all levels of client organizations. They will be skilled presenters of technical and financial proposals and have a track record of achieving sales targets.

  • Source, prospect and identify customers and market the company’s products in the assigned territory (Alberta and BC)
  • Manage relationships with existing clients and expand sales
  • Communicate accurate technical information to internal team members and provide clients with solutions and support on products
  • Prepare sales proposals
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to foster repeat business
  • Meet or exceed sales targets
  • Forecast sales and prepare reports
  • Attend tradeshows and relevant industry events as needed
  • Analyze the competitor landscape and track buying trends


  • University degree
  • At least 7-10 years of experience selling industrial racking systems, steel fabrication equipment, material handling equipment or lift equipment
  • Experience managing and closing large dollar-value sales
  • Skilled at business development and proven accomplishments building business
  • Extremely self-motivated and able to work individually and remotely

University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
