JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job Title:       System Coordinator                            Effective Date: 06-08-2021

 

Department:  TQA                                                    Payroll Status:  Salary-non exempt

 

Reports to:     TQA Manager                                    Revision #:       1

 

Job Summary:

Coordinate daily activities and projects for the TQA Systems department. Direct TQA systems team in daily responsibilities with follow up when necessary.  May be asked to travel on company business when needed.

 

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Perform audits on management systems including line/production audits
  • Be able to manage a team of internal quality auditors
  • Evaluate production processes for compliance with quality requirements
  • Work with the appropriate associates to obtain information/data/evidence and to develop corrective actions to address deficiencies
  • Conduct regular meetings to update/inform management on the status of all compliance systems and programs
  • Assist in leading internal audit teams
  • Create & maintain necessary & appropriate documentation to support management systems and programs
  • Arrange audits with external auditors
  • Work flexible hours, overtime, and/or weekends as needed
  • Rotate jobs or shifts as needed
  • Maintain attendance per KLP policy
  • Work in a team environment

Additional Job Responsibilities

  • Complete cross-training requirements to support all compliance systems and programs
  • Travel on company business for training seminars/meetings or supplier audits as needed
  • Complete TPM assignments/requirements in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned to the satisfaction of Management

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience                                                                            

  • At least one (5) years, working with management systems.
  • At least three (3) years auditing experience.
  • Experience leading a team.

Skills                           

  • Should possess strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate well with a wide variety of auditees. (Top management, production, support departments, etc.)
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to effectively use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point. 
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percentages.

Communication                                                                                                          

            Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Education/Knowledge                                                                                             

High School Diploma or general equivalent diploma (GED)

Work Environment

            Associates are required to work in a typical office environment where the temperature is controlled throughout the year, but may occasionally be warm or cool to individual preferences.  Associates are required to work an 8-hour day (not including overtime or other factors affecting the production schedule).  Associates are required to wear personal protective equipment, which includes uniform and closed toe/heel shoes (when going into the production area - bump cap, safety glasses, safety shoes, earplugs, sleeves and gloves).
