As Trust Officer, you will:

  • Manage a variety of trust accounts – revocable and irrevocable trusts, estate settlement, special needs trusts, conservatorships, and educational trusts.
  • Build rapport with clients and their beneficiaries.
  • Assist clients and become involved in their lives – for example: assisting with the purchase of a personal computer.
  • Be a part of the professional community for example, part of the local Estate Planning Council.
  • Spend 30% of time building relationships with the professional community (attorney’s CPA’s) in order to grow future business.
  • Work with the Investment Officer who manages investments for clients and supports the trust officer.


As Trust Officer, you will have:

  • Experience administering a variety of trust accounts.
  • Experience working with challenging beneficiaries, guiding them.
  • A strong understanding of trust – strong enough to build trust with attorneys.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to build relationships with COI’s (attorney’s / CPA’s / high net worth individuals) in the community.
  • CTFA or willingness to achieve in two years.

University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
