JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Providing operational and business leadership with technical support for manufacturing and facilitate troubleshooting/problem solving 
  • Leading teams in support of power and recovery for the plant and well as supporting shutdowns/turnarounds, capital projects and driving continuous improvement
  • Support their strong culture of compliance through critical hazard identification, risk reduction and mitigation.
  • Supporting short, mid and long term projects in supporting operations excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of similar experience.  Will also consider Associates Degree with 5+ years of closely aligned experience.
  • Experience with recycling of pulping chemicals to generate steam and electrical power.
  • Experience with developing and implementing improvement processes and supporting projects
  • Leadership capabilities; experience supervising direct reports of leading through influence as a subject matter expert
  • Prefer knowledge of integrated utilities department with various power generation and process recovery streams
  • This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. Applicants must possess unrestricted US work authorization

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
