Our client in Mississauga is looking for a Warehouse Administrator. This position is a temp on going position with a high chance of becoming a 12-18 month contract in the new year as an individual will be going on Mat leave. The role is Monday to Friday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. The position requires previous warehouse admin experience in creating labels and working with warehouse management systems. Looking for the individual to start ASAP.

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

·        Generating and producing courier labels

·        Arranging for warehouse storage, distribution and/or transport of cargo if required for warehouses, carriers or other applicable parties

·        Ensuring clients, partners or other required parties are kept fully informed of inventory, distribution and/or transport status on a regular basis

·        Controlling client inventory as needed

·        Verifying pieces, weights and dimensions of cargo

·        Receiving transport orders

·        Receiving client documentation to produce orders for customers of client

·        Maintaining a professional phone manner internally and externally

·        Communicating as required with applicable parties to ensure service requirements are achieved

·        Excellent telephone manner and skills

QUALIFICATIONS

·        High school diploma or equivalent education

·        Post-Secondary Education is an asset

·        Minimum 1-year experience of warehousing & distribution systems

·        Strong attention to detail with ability to work efficiently under pressure

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as organizational skills

·        Ability to solve logistical problems as necessary and work within a team environment

·        Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office
