It is the world's largest independent investment bank, with principal executive offices in New York City, Paris and London.

They are looking to hire a Web developer to assist in the design, development and maintenance of the company's web site. This position is permanent or contract to hire.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client, a financial services firm in New York City is looking for a Web Developer (permanent or contract -to -hire)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design, development, deployment and maintenance of custom web solutions for the company’s website.
  • Proactive maintenance and management of the company’s digital platforms, ensuring functionality and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Global Communications group to assist in creating and publishing web pages and social media posts.
  • Recommend  web and mobile design across a  range of applications, with a focus on the development and improvement of  websites and web pages necessary to support the marketing strategy of the firm.
  • Discover, troubleshoot, and solve issues with digital content-articles,  links, navigation, images, user experience, etc.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills:

  • At least  5-7 years total IT experience
  • Strong experience in Javascript,
  • Enterprise website design. 

Plusses:

  • .Net, AngularJS or other web application coding software
  • Experienced with any content management system (CMS).
  • Website analytics tools, preferably Google Analytics
  • Experienced in building Umbraco-based websites.

Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
