This is a long term client who is very responsive and great to work with.  Newly created position due to a merger.  The VP of Distribution who the position reports to is an excellent leader, motivator and coach.  This position is open due to the increase of e-commerce transactions(Walmart and Amazon) therefore candidates will combine their Supply Chain experience with e-Commerce experience.  Company continues to grow by acquisition.  HQ is in Ontario Canada with 3 Distribution Centers in North America.  This position will be located in Charlotte N.C.  They are flexible with the base salary.

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Summary

Reporting to the VP of Distribution, the eCommerce Operations Manager will support eCommerce operations across our multiple eCommerce accounts. This role will liaise and collaborate closely with eCommerce, Manufacturing, Planning, Distribution, IT and 3PL partners to ensure all service expectations are met. This role will have a dotted line reporting to the VP of Digital and eCommerce.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Planning:

  • Collaborate with forecasting and eCommerce team on creating the forecasting plans and help in designing operations infrastructure to support the forecasting and target numbers.
  • Work on production plans for Amazon business with a focus on bagging process, partner with distribution teams to deliver on those plans.

 

Engagement & Execution:

  • Manage third party vendor relationship, coordinate weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings, generate reports to review operations and support the day to day 3PL business operations.
  • Review the current inventory and replenishment processes across eCommerce accounts and improve the operational efficiency. 
  • Instrumental in setting up new customer accounts at 3PL company working with internal and external partners. Participate in brainstorming and process review sessions to scale up the operations. 
  • Act as “super user” and custodian of Etail Market Place platform.

 

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Work with eCommerce team to review/setup operational KPIs and deliver on those KPIs working with distribution team, warehouse team and external vendors.

 

Other:

  • Work in a safe manner and meet company safety requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • No supervisory duties.

 

Employment Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Information Systems.
  • 3-5 years Supply Chain experience in an eCommerce setting.
  • Well versed in Microsoft office. 
  • Working experience with eCommerce platforms, such as Sales Force, Etail is a plus.
  • Experience in managing operations for Amazon, Direct-to-Consumer and Retail .com businesses. 
  • Planning experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS
