Description:

Our client is seeking a candidate for a Physical Therapist to work in a hospital setting.

The Physical Therapist will develop and implement individuals physical therapy programs designed to improve and maximize the patients mobility and independent functioning within their physical limitations/disabilities.  

Evaluates the patient's functional abilities/disabilities including range of motion and muscle testing. Through assessment and testing procedures establishes a patient’s functional baseline measurement to be used throughout treatment as a gauge of progress and physical improvement.

The Physical Therapist will establish treatment plans which specify objective treatment goals and the treatment modalities that will assist the patient to regain function, increase strength and decrease pain, and modify treatment plans as the patient's condition changes.

The Physical Therapist will performs physical, electrical, mechanical and heat treatments.

The Physical Therapist will supervise treatments provided by physical therapist assistants. Reviews treatment plans and patient progress with fellow treatment team members. Instructs and supervises ancillary personnel in the proper technique/treatment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
University - Master's Degree
