Swine Business Unit Manager

Salary Range: $125,000 - $200,000

JOB DESCRIPTION

Established Ag Employer seeking a Business Unit Manager-Swine for their organization.  This position will report directly to the President.  The ideal individual will have recent sales management experience catering to the swine industry and must have solid knowledge of large scale production farms. This organization has a large sales division with many technical sales professionals.  Duties/Responsibilities to include:
* Sales, marketing and promotion
* Oversight of Sales Professionals, Technical Support, and Service Managers
* Developing and implementing marketing strategies as well as pricing strategy tools
* Communicating, training and working through multi-cultural channels within organization
* Providing key role in supporting product/business development
* Actively supporting after-sales services, collections and other sales-related programs and services

**Relocation may not be required, depending on candidates current location. Excellent Compensation and Benefits offered***

QUALIFICATIONS

- MS or Higher Education in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, or related Degree
- 3-5 years experience in Feed Industry or Animal Health
- Extensive Sales and Marketing experience required
- Must have solid working knowledge and understanding of current swine production
- Knowledge of farm layouts very beneficial
- P&L experience
- Interpersonal and Communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Computer proficiency, especially with regard to Microsoft Office suite applications
- Desire to Travel up to 65%

University - Master's Degree
