Under the supervision of the Director of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Director, the Staff Physical Therapist provides physical therapy to the residents and supervises the Physical Therapy Assistant(s) and Physical Therapy Aide(s).
REQUIREMENTS
Must be a graduate from an American Physical Therapy Association accredited school of Physical Therapy.
Must possess a current license in the state of current practice.
Must possess a strong knowledge of state, federal and local regulations as they pertain to long term care.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must meet health assessment requirements, including two stage Mantoux skin test.
Must be capable of performing the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
