Responsibilities:
The House Supervisor duties include provision of managerial and clinical links between the nurse director and department direction in their absence, and the administrator-on-call.
Knowledge of Utilization Review rules and regulations as they assist physicians and staff in assigning admission status.
The House Supervisor position performs professional supervisory nursing practice in the care of patients by acting as a resource to staff.
The House Supervisor responds to all emergencies within the facility including rapid response, code blue, and traumas assisting as necessary.
