Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established Hay Farming Operation in South Central, OR to find an experienced AgriBusiness Manager to work with inventory; sales and marketing of the hay, both domestically and internationally; budgeting; bookkeeping, record keeping and reports; business analysis and helping out on the farming operation as needed. The ideal individual will have related experience in the Pacific Northwest working on a large alfalfa or forage farming operation. This Manager must have some experience with business financials. This individual will also need experience running farm equipment and, in general, experience helping out on a large farming operation.
This is a full-time, year-round employment opportunity with competitive pay, depending upon your experience and good benefits including group health insurance availability and a retirement plan. Opportunity for advancement and additional responsibilities in this role.
- 4-year AgriBusiness or other Ag-related degree
- Strong Pacific Northwestern Agriculture experience
- Solid AgriBusiness Management experience on a forage or large farming operation
- Experience with business financials, balance sheets, budgeting, inventory, recordkeeping and business analysis
- Hands-on management style
Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
