Sales Manager & Developer
Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an Established Animal Nutrition Company in their search for a Sales Manager & Developer. The successful candidate will be a motivated, innovative entrepreneur with proven success of exceeding revenue objectives. Responsibilities will include introducing new Animal Nutrition products to established customers and networking with new customers. Qualified individual will need to keep current on the market trends for the territory and expand their knowledge of products in order to present to customers, dealers, and other sales individuals. Products will relate directly to the Dairy and Beef Production / Nutrition industry. Key responsibilities include:
-Maintain, grow and generate new industry relationships with both customers and suppliers
-Execute trades in both forward contracts and spot business
-Research market trends, competitors, and customers
-Manage customer accounts
- BS Animal Nutrition, Animal Science or other Ag-related degree, Master's Degree preferred
- 3+ years Dairy Nutrition / Feed Sales experience
- Demonstrated skill in the dynamics of cash traded ingredients. (i.e. vegetables, proteins, and starches)
- Understanding of Organic Products and Nutritional value
- Strong communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation)
- Self-Directed/Performance-based focus
- Ability to effectively predict market movement and make rapid decisions
- Computer Proficiency including Excel, PowerPoint and Ration Balancing software
- Ability to travel within assigned geography
Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
