Supervisory Responsibility:
Divisional/Multi-Level: The job requires direct responsibility for the management of multiple departments with large numbers of staff assigned to each. The incumbent directly and indirectly supervises multiple directors, managers, assistant managers, and/or supervisors who in turn manage and supervise their areas of responsibility. Incumbent has multiple shift responsibility for staff.
Purpose: Provides the hospital with an efficient and effective process and structure that supports the acceptance and bed assignment of outpatient surgical;/procedural, observation and admitted patients from all portals of entry within defined performance expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
Assures the hospital provides high quality, cost effective clinical care to patients; develops and
Achieves specific annual organizational and departmental goals established relative to clinical efficiency, effectiveness and throughput
Implements strategies or programs in conjunction with aligned payers and/or physician practices to support the provision of continuum-based, quality and efficient care to patients
Implements evidenced-based initiatives and strategies
Requirements:
Education: Masters Degree in the field of Nursing
5 to 7 Years of Experience
