This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has worked within a manufacturing plant as a plant accountant, plant accounting manager or plant assistant controller.
The controller in this manufacturing facility is looking for an experienced person who can work independently in performing the monthly closing activities including the generation and analysis of the B/S, P&L and Cash Flow Stmts. You wil also supervise two people in A/P, A/R, invoicing, and general accounting. You will assist the plant controller with the budget process, monthly actual to budget analysis and reforecasts. You will also assist the plant controller with special projects including an upcoming systems conversion project.

Desired candidates will have:
a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
3+ years experience performing accounting and reporting activities in a manufacturing plant.
knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting (helpful).
some supervisory experience (highly prefered).
