Assistant Controller.  Must be promotable.  Growing and well-established manufacturer in business for many years.  Need 5 years of financial reporting experience.  Hattiesburg, MS location.  Prefer candidates from Mississippi or surrounding states. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Attractive position with a well-established and growing company. Preferred candidate will be bright, have the potential for upward mobility, and have approximately 5 years of experience in the financial reporting area to include preparation and analysis of financial statements, evaluation of internal controls, preparing budgets and forecasts, and analysis of actual vs. budgeted expenses. Should be attuned to analyzing systems and making improvements to provide better financial management of the company. Must be capable of supervising employees in the financial reporting, accounting, billing/collections, and payroll areas. Superior verbal and written skills are must haves as this position will interface with senior level executives throughout the company. Must be proficient with Microsoft office products and have solid computer skills. Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. A B. S. in Accounting is required, certification is a plus. This position is bonus eligible. Prefer candidates in Mississippi or the surrounding area. Relocation assistance will be provided.

QUALIFICATIONS

Five years of financial reporting experience.  Manufacturing helpful but not required.  Must have a B. S. Accounting.  Certification helpful but not required.

University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
