My client is now seeking a Account Manager / Sales Representative for their newly opened Japan office located in central Tokyo.
The company is an industry-leading manufacturer of industrial laundry equipment and solutions from Europe and plans to expand to other markets in APAC in 2017.
This is an exciting opportunty to work closely with the Japan Country Manager to build the company's business in Japan and Asia.
Duties and responsbilities:
To conduct business development activities, sourcing new potenital clients and creating new sales channels.
To assist the Country Manager with customer meetings, presentations and implementing marketing plans.
Some translation of marketing matierals from English to Japanese required.
Coordinating expansion activities to China and other countries in Asia.
Interfacing with corporate customers and ensuring that machinery and software are meeting expectations.
Languages: Japanese (Native level) / English (Buisness or high fluency) / Mandarin a plus
Experience/ expertise: Direct or Channel Selling of machinery, heavy or industirial equipment or factory automation / production sales.
University degree preferred
Education:
University - Bachelor's Degree/3-4 Year Degree
